After 24 years of dedicated service in an administrative role, and currently as ABODA Executive Director, Dennis Smith has announced his intention to step down from this role, effective July 1, 2028. In addition, Dennis will conclude his tenure as Marching Band Coordinator following the 2026 marching band season. This early announcement gives the ABODA Board time to identify and prepare new leaders who can work alongside Dennis and benefit from his guidance before his departure.
